emilyMax at 282 Victoria Ave. Chatswood (entrance at Neridah) is an unique combination of museum, art gallery, music school, law school, musical instruments retail shop, live performance venue, cultural/philosophical Salon and traditional Tea house.

We provide lessons for the following instruments:

1. Guzheng/Koto

2. Erhu violin

3. Violin

4. Guitar

Our regular Guzheng group lessons are currently held on Wednesday nights from 7-8pm.

We also offer group lessons for Erhu violins, and private tuitions for abovementioned musical instruments.

Live Performances are on different nights of the week, reservation is required.

Classes for Yi-Qing and Chinese Laws (French and German language skills may be required) are scheduled to commence in February.

emilyMax design and manufacture all of its saxophones, hand polished saxophone mouthpieces, flutes, Koto, Zither Guzheng, Guitar Pipa, Guitar Biwa, Violin Erhu (with genuine python skin). Both saxophone and flute are available in 92.5% silver. All ancient musical instruments are available in pterocarpus indicus. emilyMax also carry some of the finest guitars hand crafted here in Sydney.
